What is the Jam Contest?
The Jam Contest is an opportunity for artists to create an illustration for a card in our upcoming Cross The Ages TCG collection. The winner will see their artwork used in the game and will receive a cash prize.

How can I participate in the contest?
Starting from November 6th, you can sign up through our online form on this page. You will need to submit your illustration according to the provided specifications and agree to the contest’s terms.

 What is the submission deadline for my illustration?
The submission deadline is December 6th, 2024. Make sure to submit your artwork before this date to be considered.

Are there any registration fees?
No, participation in the contest is completely free.

Are there specific themes or guidelines for the illustration?
Yes, the illustration must align with the science fiction and fantasy universe of Cross The Ages. Please refer to our thematic guide for more details, which will be available on our website starting from October 21st. This will help you prepare before the registration opens on November 6th.

Can I use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to create my illustration?
No, the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the creation of illustrations is not allowed in this contest. To verify the authenticity of the artwork, the entire creation process must be filmed and submitted alongside the final illustration. Any attempt to use AI will result in immediate disqualification.

How will the winner be selected?
The works will be evaluated by a jury composed of members of our creative team and invited experts. The judging criteria will include creativity, originality, artistic quality, and relevance to the theme.

What is the prize for the winner?
The winner will receive a cash prize of 1,000 euros for the first place (600 euros for the second place and 400 euros for the third). The winning illustration will also be used as a card in the upcoming collection.

Can I submit multiple illustrations?
No, each participant may submit only one illustration. So, make sure to choose your best work for submission.

Can I use existing or previously published illustrations?
No, the illustrations must be original and unpublished creations. Any previously published or plagiarized work will be disqualified.

What are the copyright terms for my illustration?
By participating in the contest, you agree to transfer the usage rights of your illustration to our studio Cross The Ages for use in the game and promotional purposes. However, you will retain credit as the artist.
