A Redesigned Tutorial for New Players : The Beginner Zone
The tutorial has been completely reworked to offer a smoother, more natural learning experience. Essential mechanics are introduced progressively and directly within the game world. Combat, exploration, and progression are all designed so players can learn Arise naturally, without breaking the rhythm of the adventure. Players start in the Beginner Zone and later unlock Rift Land. Purchasing Arkhante Land grants more energy and enables efficient resource farming across multiple territories.
A New Multiplayer Transition Zone
Playtest 4 also introduces a new multiplayer transition zone. This space allows players to travel between different lands while encountering other adventurers along the way. It becomes a true hub within the world of Arise : a place to prepare before a mission, interact with other players, or simply take a break between explorations. The zone also features a combat arena, enabling players to quickly engage in dynamic battles. This addition also allows us to run scalability tests in preparation for the arrival of multiple zones across Artellium with the upcoming Transport Patch.
It includes:
• A PvP area where players can challenge each other in 1v1 fights
• A shared space to prepare, interact, and move between lands (Rift and Arkhante for now)
This zone is an important step toward a future world map system and deeper multiplayer and transport system.
Express Your Hero’s Identity
Players now have more customization options than ever:
- Character Customization: Face, hair, eyes, beard… design your avatar exactly how you imagine it
- Outfits & Progression: Customize your characters with unique outfits unlocked through your mastery. Level up your profession and show off your style everywhere.
- Fun Emotes: Celebrate, frustrate, or interact using the emote wheel
- New Air Weapon : Master the Air weapon and unlock an exclusive outfit
Dynamic Multiplayer Communication
Interactions are now more dynamic during exploration and combat. Emotes allow players to express themselves easily, making collaboration and reactions more fun and intuitive.
Deeper Progression and Optimization
The talent tree has been visually redesigned for clarity, letting players specialize and optimize their builds. New systems include:
- Personal Inventory: Collect weapons, potions, tools and manage equipped items

- Masteries: Develop skills depending on your activities : woodcutting, crafting, combat
- Talent Tree: Customize and specialize your abilities. The more you use a skill, the more you master it

Progression and the economy are central : players must specialize and strategize, using the auction house wisely.
Explore Arkhante
Adventurers can discover Arkhante, a mystical region in western Artellium, divided into seven magical kingdoms tied to the seven Arkhomes.
Highlights:
- New exploration zones
- Challenging dungeons: Cave CERAK, Assault of the Crucible
- Cooperative battles against creatures
At the heart of Arkhante lies Nephtys, its capital, home to the Crucible, a legendary decision-making council carved into the rock itself, where the history of Arkhante and the rise of the first Primus are told through ancient bas-reliefs. And of course… a new land means more resources, new challenges, and new opportunities for progression.
Interactive Map
A first interactive map may appear in the middle of this playtest, letting players explore dungeons, plan strategies, and share them with allies. Track monsters, layouts, and dungeon challenges and craft strategies with your team to conquer Artellium.
Weekly Hall Chests & Leaderboards
Each week, players can take on various dungeon challenges to earn these chests, which contain valuable rewards for progression. The greater the achievements, the higher the rewards available at the weekly reset.
At the same time, several leaderboards are being introduced to track your performance and compare it with other players like masteries. This adds a new competitive dimension, allowing the most determined adventurers to aim for the top spots.
Music Box
You can now collect music around Artellium to unlock musics. The new Music Box lets you listen to classic and new Cross The Ages soundtracks, from the TCG music released 3 years ago to newer tracks like Fort-Gotens and We Are Heroes.
