The AMA on 16 June provided an opportunity to take stock of several major aspects of the Cross The Ages project. The team answered questions from the community on key topics such as progress on the Arise lands, financial management, the Arise and Blast test phases, and the Solana migration.
This summary presents the different questions grouped by theme, along with the answers provided by the team. The full replay of this AMA session is available in French in the video below.
Replay AMA June 2025
Lands Arise: progress and next steps
The development of Lands is progressing, despite regulatory constraints that are still holding back some announcements. The broad outlines of the project remain unchanged, even if some adjustments are required to the operational details. The aim is to retain the original vision while adapting to the new realities of the market.
- Launch: Lands should be available this year, once it has been integrated into the Solana ecosystem.
- Payment: Lands will be sold in tokens.
- Whitepaper: more information will be shared in the next Whitepaper, currently being finalised.
- Contingency plan: alternatives are already in place in the event of regulatory setbacks.

Financial management and investments
Cross The Ages' financial health continues to stabilise. The fund-raising mentioned above is progressing in the right direction.
Fundraising: a number of discussions have progressed, notably with a major player in the gaming sector, which has already contracted its participation in the project. Its commitment will be officially announced in the next few days.
Long-term visibility: the funds raised will be used to extend the runway and finance the next stages in the development and acquisition of Arise and Blast.

Arise: test phase and direction confirmed
The first test phase of Arise has been judged very positive, both technically and in terms of the community. A large amount of feedback has been taken into account.
Objective achieved: the test confirmed the game's main directions and feedback was incorporated into the roadmap.
Feedback from partners: a gaming partner was able to test Arise and provided some very encouraging professional feedback.
Next steps: the next playtest will include the first aspects of crafting as well as new weapons designed around Solana.
And that's not all: during the next playtest phase, two communities will be invited, including Cross The Ages and another partner community. The aim is to give more visibility to these test phases and to broaden our feedback panel by opening up the experience to a more varied audience.
For each community, rewards will be offered to the most committed players, to encourage commitment and tryhard work, and to reward the efforts of the most deserving participants.
The idea is that for each new test session, we will welcome different communities to see how the game is perceived by different profiles.
Bear in mind that the game is still under development: you may encounter a few bugs. The most important thing is to have fun, and above all, to share your feedback with us!

Blast: gameplay, learning and schedule
The Blast test phases follow a progressive logic, with minimalist sessions to analyse player behaviour.
- First phase: the aim was to validate the basic gameplay mechanics without a tutorial, in order to assess the game's intuitiveness and Core.
- Onboarding: this will be integrated into the Adventure Patch (v0.26), the basis of the future acquisition campaign.
- Next test: Closed Playtest 2 will start on Wednesday 25 June 2025.
Test content:
- 4 Blasts available: Rift, Arkhante, Mantris, Watchdog.
- Addition of J1 rebalancing notions observed in the first test phase.
- Increased energy ratios with +500 energy.
- Return of a soundscape, which will remain in WIP.
- Acquisition campaign: planned after the Adventure Patch, considered to be a key stage before opening to the public.

Migrating from Immutable X to Solana
The project is embarking on a major transformation with the move to Solana, marking a decisive turning point in its DeFi strategy. This migration will be carried out in stages to ensure a smooth transition.
Transition timetable (provisional dates):
2 July:
- End of SR cycle, last IMX weekly airdrop (-> includes airdrops linked to VIP programme)
- Automatic unstaking of all tokens and mint passes (-> staking deactivated)
21 July:
- End of NFT interactions between CTA and IMX (cessation of asset mint/burn and cancellation of pending burns)
28-30 July :
- Total freeze of NFTs: no more transfers possible
- Migration and redeployment of applications (TCG, Portal, Nexus) to fully support Solana
- Opening of account migration to Solana (including merging of accounts from the same KYC)
New system on Solana:
- Gradual implementation of the new mechanisms (new systems replacing IMX's for staking, airdrop and the VIP programme)
- Transition phase that may extend until the end of Season 3 to allow everyone to finalise the migration and familiarise themselves with the new ecosystem
IMX closure:
IMX will close definitively in the second half of 2025. We strongly recommend that players migrate as soon as this is available. After closure, the management of CTA tokens (automatically migrated to zkEVM) in particular will be more complex.
Communication:
- A full article explaining the IMX → Solana migration will be published once it has been validated by our partners
- Additional information (particularly on rewards) will follow in a separate communication.
*Dates subject to change as required.
TCG Season 4 collection: interests and uses
The TCG Season 4 collection will come into its own with the gameplay and rewards updates scheduled over the coming weeks.
Timing: release with the Gameplay + Reward patch.
Uses:
- A new Blast will be associated with this collection.
- In Arise, the collection will have an impact on Lands and weapon upgrades.
SR rotation: Details of how SR airdrop works will be provided in the Solana migration/economy article.
Future prospects
The Blast acquisition campaign will begin with Patch 0.26, also known as the Blast "adventure" patch. This patch is considered to be a key step, as it lays the essential foundations before the launch of the acquisition campaign proper for Blast, a board game that requires real onboarding work.
As far as Arise is concerned, the closer we get to early access, the greater the game's ability to retain external players. The tests carried out so far, particularly with external audiences, have been very positive and show that the game is already very popular in its current version.

In summary
Lands: arrival targeted for this year, token sales, some adjustments possible depending in particular on regulatory issues, details to follow in the whitepaper.
Finance: Fundraising well advanced, major gaming partner contracted and announcement to come.
Arise: conclusive test, next playtest with integration of part of crafting and new weapons.
Blast: new test phase on 25 June 2025, onboarding planned with the Adventure Patch.
Solana: gradual migration before activation of rewards, explanatory article awaiting approval.
Season 4 TCG: greater emphasis on new game systems.
This new AMA confirms the team's ongoing efforts to build a solid, transparent and forward-looking ecosystem. Next step: the 02 Blast playtest on Wednesday 25 June!
