TCG: Rewards and Loyalty Systems

Can we get more details on the new reward system before its upcoming launch? How does it work? What types of rewards? Loyalty system? Impact of mint passes or not? Is the system uniform across all CTA games or specific to each one?

  • Trisel earnings from matches will be calculated based on your three largest Classic Flex/Eternal collections and the three largest Prestige and Collaboration collections (WD, SR), with bonuses for Exclusive and Unique cards. The newer the collection, the greater its contribution.
  • This system will go live with the migration to Solana.

Key Terms:

  • Trisel: In-game resource obtained by playing, used to upgrade eternal assets.
  • Eternal Stone: In-game resource obtained from other Flex/Eternal cards, used to upgrade eternal assets.
  • Flex/Eternal Collections: Types of card collections. Eternal cards are on the blockchain, whereas Flex cards are in a transitional state.

Loyalty systems and mint passes do not directly influence earnings but provide indirect benefits through discounts and perks. Multipliers are game-specific (cards for the TCG, weapons for Arise). Duplicate cards are not considered; only the best card is counted. Physical cards will also count.

The first three seasons of physical cards will be released to the market on close dates.

Each new collection will introduce a "Blast", a unique active technique. See the the last Dev Update video for more details.

TCG: Future Collections

What will future collections bring that the main three do not in terms of gameplay?

Each collection will introduce a unique Blast, deepening gameplay with new mechanics and strategies. The Heritage Arc covers seasons 1 to 3, while seasons 4 and 5 will be part of a new narrative arc.

Arise: Land Defense and Gameplay Strategy

Can you explain the land defense system using NFT cards? How many cards are needed? Grades? Elemental bonuses? Faction compatibility?

Each Land will correspond to a specific collection for defense, making card variety essential for strong defense.

Key Terms:

  • Land: A virtual plot in Arise that can be used to gather resources, construct buildings, or be defended using cards.

Arise: Crafting and Controlled Economy

Can you explain the crafting mechanics in Arise in more detail? How will energy resources impact crafting? How does token stacking affect energy management in Arise? What resources are needed for primary (weapon production) and secondary (potions, tools, etc.) crafting?

Arise follows a player-controlled economy model where resources are collected, refined, and crafted by players, except for Tier 1 weapons, which can drop or be generated.

Key Terms:

  • Primary Crafting: Creating weapons from raw materials.
  • Secondary Crafting: Producing items like potions, tools, and building upgrades.
  • Controlled Player Economy: Players produce and trade resources, influencing the in-game economy. Example: If no player gathers stone, no stone will exist in the game.
  • Stone (TCG): Card fragments used for crafting in the TCG.
  • Stone (Arise): Natural resource for crafting (to be renamed to avoid confusion with the TCG Stone resource).

Crafting can be a full-time activity, but specializations will be encouraged for optimization and efficiency. Players can choose different roles:

  • Specialized professions for gathering resources (Tool Mastery)
  • Specialized professions for refining resources (Refining Mastery)
  • Trading on the in-game Auction House
  • Dungeon farming or participating in future PvP modes (Weapon Mastery)
  • Raiding to collect resources

The Auction House is a building present on all Lands, facilitating resource exchanges. More professions will be introduced over time, enriching gameplay.

Arise Coin can be exchanged for specific in-game services, with a value corresponding to the communicated Coin rate.

Arise: Lands and Real-World Integration

What is the current solution to ensure the legality of acquiring digital Lands and real-world plots, especially in the U.S. and other countries?

We'll be developing this rather dense and technical section in the Lands arrival guide. It is not possible to say more about this part at present.

Tokenomics and Future Evolutions

Are you considering migrating the CTA token to a brand-new blank token once the total supply is released?

No new token issuance is planned. We believe this would harm transparency and the token's history.

Blockchain Infrastructure and Integration

Will there be a bridge between IMX and the new blockchain to avoid high ETH mainnet fees?

Yes, a bridge will be available to facilitate the transition between IMX and the new blockchain, reducing fees and improving the user experience.

Tokens like Trisel and Stones can be wrapped for trading in Liquidity Pools and unwrapped for in-game use.

Key Terms:

  • Liquidity Pool: A token reserve enabling quick and efficient exchanges between different currencies.
