Update on Cards for the Solana Migration

As part of the migration to Solana, we’re making adjustments to reposition each asset appropriately within the ecosystem.

Introduction of Divine Cards

Until now, cards belonging to investors and the team were classified as Exclusives, even though, like Unique cards, they were not part of physical collections. To clarify their status, we’re introducing a new rarity for them: Divine

All affected cards will automatically transition to this category before the migration, giving them a distinct identity and better coherence within the ecosystem.

Crafting the SR39

The SR39 will be available for crafting once the Eternal Multiplier system will roll out. You can craft it directly in the TCG or via the Portal in the dedicated section. Stay tuned for the reveal!

For reference, here’s the crafting cost for the SR39 if you already own Sijin, Riona, and Arkhel:

Non-Foil Merge Cost:

Trisel: 117,000

Stones:

  • Before September 25: 8,970
  • After September 25: 11,960
  • When all 3 Genesis collections are at x3: 13,455

Foil Merge Cost:

Trisel: 234,000

Stones:

  • Before September 25: 17,940
  • After September 25: 23,920
  • When all 3 Genesis collections are at x3: 26,910

Disappearance of Flex Cards in Season 4

As Season 4 approaches, major updates to the card ecosystem will improve access to Eternal cards and clarify the Web3 transition.
As usual, all Flex cards will be converted into Static cards at the end of Season 3 on September 25, 2025.
From Season 4 onward, Flex cards will be fully retired, only Static and Eternal cards will remain in the Cross The Ages ecosystem.

Disappearance of the Forge and Evolution of Minting

The Forge system on Blast will be fully discontinued and temporarily replaced by a cost of 50 Eternal Stones instead of 1 Flex Roll.
All Flex Rolls in your inventory will be converted into 50 Eternal Stones each, as outlined in the asset migration section below.
Starting in Season 4, minting will exclusively apply to Static cards, with costs varying based on the card’s rarity:

  • Minting a Static card will require a variable amount of CTA tokens depending on rarity, plus additional costs in Trisel and Eternal Stones if the card was already crafted, reflecting a markup over the standard crafting cost.
  • Rank 1 cards remain the most cost-efficient to mint, requiring only CTA tokens.
  • Players can avoid minting costs entirely by purchasing Eternal Packs directly on the Portal. These packs include pre-minted Rank 1 Eternal cards at a price equal to the previous season’s minting cost.
  • Freemints will hold a fixed mint value of $1 in CTA tokens.

This change aims to maintain economic parity with previous seasons while simplifying onboarding. Directly buying Eternal cards and crafting them will always be the most affordable path, as minting crafted Static cards will come at a higher cost.

Minting Period and Numbering

Card minting will remain open for one year after the launch of Season 4, as usual. To ensure fairness for all players, including those who join later in the season, Eternal cards will be assigned unique numbers (#1, #2, etc.) at the end of the minting period.
This system gives everyone an equal chance to obtain low-numbered Eternal cards and adds a memorable event to mark the season’s end.

Shop Updates

The Shop on Blast will shift to offering only Static assets, aligning with the updated card ecosystem. The only exception is Eternal Stones, which will stay available for direct purchase at a fixed price reflecting their value from shredding Eternal Pack content.
This provides players with a straightforward option to acquire Stones for crafting or minting directly in-game.

Season 4 Presale Mechanics

The Season 4 presale will allow Mint Pass holders to purchase discounted packs, issued as equivalent Soulbound Tokens (SBTs). Using the discount will temporarily lock your Mint Passes until the presale ends.
Packs purchased with a discount are non-transferable and cannot be sold on the Marketplace, they must be opened.
In contrast, packs bought at full price will be standard NFTs that are fully tradable, transferable, and eligible for Marketplace activity.
After the presale, the same packs will continue to be available at full price exclusively on the Portal.
As in Season 3, opening these packs gives you a chance to pull Unique cards.
A full breakdown of the Season 4 presale will be shared in a dedicated article later this summer.

Eternal Multiplier

What is the Eternal Multiplier?

Eternal Point and Eternal Multiplier logos
Eternal Point and Eternal Multiplier logos

The Eternal Multiplier (EM) is a key value that increases your Trisel earnings across all games.

On the TCG, it is calculated based on the total Eternal Stones you would receive by shredding all your Eternal cards without applying bonuses.

Introduced with the Solana migration, EM boosts the value of your card collection and strengthens the ecosystem through rentals, marketplace activity, and CTA token exposure.

After the migration, you will be able to view your EM on the Portal. It will become active for earnings once the rewards system goes live, which will happen between the migration and the start of Season 4 at the latest.

Why Was This Implemented?

The migration to Solana gave us the opportunity to redesign the Web3 utility of Eternal cards.

The objective is to build a system that rewards collectors, promotes card rotation, and introduces clear progression linked to ecosystem engagement through NFTs and the CTA Token.

How Does It Work?

Each card occupies a unique slot in a collection. For example, Solis Alternative is slot #2 in the Arkhante Classic collection.
The rule is simple: each card has an IV(Intrinsic Value), which is the reference value for shredding a card without its season multiplier. This IV is then multiplied based on the season bonus to yield an EP (Eternal Points) score.
The server automatically selects the highest-performing card for each slot to optimize your global EM. If you buy, craft, or rent a card with a better EP, it will automatically take its place in your binder.

Your overall EM is calculated from all Eternal cards in your account:

1. The sum of Eternal Stones generated by a hypothetical shred of all your cards, with novelty bonuses applied:

  • x3 for cards from the current season.
  • x2 for cards from the previous season.
  • x1 for older cards

This bonus encourages rotation toward new cards without devaluing older ones.

2. The EM cap is dynamic and determined by your VIP level, details will be explained on the Solana Ecosystem article.

3. Eternal Multiplier (EM) Calculation

Formula:

  • EM = min(EP_SUM, CAP) × BR × MR

With:

  • EP_SUM = SUM(Card_A_IV × Card_A_NRB, …)
  • IV (Intrinsic Value): The Stone value considered for shredding or EM calculation before bonuses.
  • NRB (New Release Bonus): 3 for the current season, 2 for the previous season, 1 otherwise.
  • CAP is defined by the VIP level rate.
  • BR (Base Rate): Set by CTA each season based on the number of cards.
  • MR (Market Rate): Dynamic adjustment based on the CTATRI volatility.

Updated Crafting Cost for Foil Cards

Since the crafting overhaul in September 2024, the cost of Foil cards in Stones has doubled. This rule will now also apply to Trisel, as Foil cards directly influence earnings via the Eternal Multiplier (EM).
With the introduction of the EM, the crafting cost for Foil cards will also be doubled in Trisel.

Addition of IV for Exclusive, Divine and Unique Cards

The base rarity of Exclusive cards is multiplied by 2 for EM calculations. But that’s not all!
You can now shred Exclusive cards to recover Trisel and Stones, with the same x2 multiplier applied to their base rarity. For example:
An Isalys Alternative Exclusive Rank C (Mythic, 225 shred base) generates:

  • 450 Stones and 2,800 Trisel when shredded.
  • If Foil, this increases to 900 Stones and 5,600 Trisel.

Divine and Unique cards have higher multipliers.

What Are Binders?

A new section, “My Binders,” will appear in your inventory. Presented as digital binders, they compile your best cards and allow you to:

  • View your main binder and duplicate binders.
  • Check your highest-performing cards.
  • Identify missing cards in your collections.
  • Lock cards to prevent accidental crafting or shredding.
  • Buy, craft, or rent missing cards directly.
  • View details of a card you own and even buy, rent, or craft a better version if desired.

Can I Have Multiple Binders?

By default, you have as many binders as you have duplicate cards in your collection. You can view them, but they only become active once you reach the required VIP level to unlock the corresponding EM.
Based on your cap, each active binder contributes to your overall Eternal Multiplier, maximizing your Trisel earnings without needing to manage multiple accounts.

Multiple Accounts

Our Choices Regarding Multiple Accounts

1 ACCOUNT = 1 KYC
1 ACCOUNT = 1 KYC

Multiple accounts have been a recurring topic in the Cross The Ages ecosystem. Many players use them to maximize their Trisel earnings, often resold via OTC. However, this system is complex to manage for most, unclear in its mechanics, and primarily centralized around a few actors. The community has consistently expressed a desire to generate more Trisel per game while valuing Eternal cards.

That’s why we’ve made a clear decision: to end traditional multi-accounting by introducing the binder system and the 1 account = 1 KYC policy. This allows players, including those with multiple accounts, to earn Trisel in a single game through their Eternal cards and VIP level.

With a single account, you can now:

  • Optimize your Trisel earnings without juggling multiple games and accounts.
  • Value your Eternal cards, as Trisel is only accessible via the Eternal Multiplier (EM).
  • Easily sell your Trisel via the CTA/CTATRI pool directly on the Portal.
  • Consolidate all your assets on a single account instead of scattering them across multiple addresses.

What Does This Change for You?

  • Enhanced Security: Your personal information remains protected. No more managing multiple accounts and addresses! Everything is centralized on your main account and binder(s), accessible from one place and secured as you prefer.
  • New Opportunities: With individual card rentals, you can rent out your cards for CTA Tokens (Available in the weeks following the migration). These tokens can then be staked, used to buy Trisel, participate in the ecosystem, or converted into another currency outside the ecosystem, the choice is yours.
  • No More Multi-Tabbing: Solo farmers can focus on a single game, fully engaging in the ladder and competition while maximizing Trisel earnings through their assets.

Creating multiple KYC accounts is strongly discouraged, as it requires leveling up the VIP status for each account and managing a large stock of Eternal cards on each, which is complex, costly, and contrary to the system’s principles. The new system is designed to optimize your earnings using a single account. Additionally, entrusting your account to third parties to play on your behalf is strictly discouraged. This exposes your personal information tied to Google, Apple, or Epic credentials and could lead to the total loss of your account, as third parties could change the password or add their own credentials, irreparably compromising its security.

Temporary Freeze on P2P Cards

To encourage ecosystem engagement through liquidity pools and prepare for the upcoming rental system, we’re introducing a 15-day freeze on certain actions for cards transferred via P2P (between players or between wallets of the same user). The affected actions include:

  • Crafting.
  • Shredding.
  • Inclusion in the Eternal Multiplier (EM) calculation.
  • In the future, Land protection.

During these 15 days, you can still use these cards in the TCG without restrictions, allowing, for example, sending a card to a friend for them to try. This mechanism promotes interactions through pools and the upcoming rental system while maintaining fluid competitive gameplay.

Our Tip for a Successful Migration

Before diving into your migration, a bit of account cleanup is essential to start off on the right foot! This is optional but highly recommended for a quick and smooth experience.
The migration to Solana can be ultra-fast if you prepare properly. The more accounts you have, the longer it may take if nothing is organized beforehand.

The key word for this migration? Unification.

Consolidate all your assets (NFTs, tokens) into the CTA Wallet of the account you want to keep as your sole reference in the ecosystem.

We’re here to help! Join the dedicated Discord channel for the migration to ask your questions to the support team.

Which Assets Are Migrating with Us?

Not all assets will transition to Solana. Once the migration begins, all assets on IMX will be frozen by Immutable. Some will be removed from the game during the server patch, creating a key opportunity to clean up and reduce the number of obsolete assets.
These assets will either be refunded or exchanged based on the rules outlined below.
Here is the list of affected assets and their corresponding outcomes:

At the time of the patch:

  • Unminted Flex Shards → Shredded into Eternal Stones.
  • Watch Dogs collaboration compensation → For each Watch Dogs booster pack you purchased, you’ll receive 60 stones as compensation for the S3 crafting update that introduced stones. For reference, a 24-pack box grants a total of 1,440 stones.
  • Pranah → Any remaining Pranah in your account will be converted to Eternal Stones based on the current shop conversion rate.
  • Flex Rolls → Converted into 50 Eternal Stones per roll.

When the player completes their migration:

  • Minted Shards → Shredded into Eternal Stones + a bonus of 10 Eternal Stones equivalent to the mint price.
  • Cosmetics bought on alt accounts → Converted into Trisel (initial cosmetic value in shop + an additional bonus).
  • Old Presale Tickets → Transformed into Freemint (1 ticket = 1 Freemint).
  • Physical Pranah Bundle (Pranah Edition) → After the migration, any new codes entered on the Portal from a physical Pranah Edition card will grant Eternal Stones. The number of Stones awarded depends on the current shop price and the value of the code entered.

New Authentication System

To streamline the migration and onboarding process, we’ve revamped our identification system. You can now create an account and log in using Phantom, Epic Games, Google, or Apple. These options are customizable in the “My Account” section on the Portal: add or remove them based on your preferences.

Note: Creating a new account via Google or Apple will result in a blank account without your existing assets. During the migration, Phantom will be your primary identification method. Once the migration is complete, you can add other options (Google, Apple, etc.) or even remove Phantom if you wish.

Migration Steps

Step 1: Prepare Your Phantom Wallet

To begin, ensure that Phantom is installed and configured with your chosen address. If you haven’t done this yet, here are some simple guides:

If you are performing the migration on mobile, you must absolutely do so from the integrated browser of Phantom. Likewise, after the migration, using the integrated browser is the most optimized way to use the portal on mobile.

Once your Phantom wallet is ready, visit: https://portal.crosstheages.com/ .

Step 2: Start the Migration

During the migration period, a “Legacy Account Migration” section will appear on the Portal’s login page. Click it to begin the process by logging into one of your accounts.

Step 3: Select Basic Information and KYC

In this first step, we manage the new KYC system, your static assets, and your basic account information.

You will need to:

  • KYC : Following the closure of Synaps, a new KYC is required with our new partner. This is the first mandatory step to continue the migration.
If you have multiple accounts linked to the same Synaps KYC, you will only need to complete the new KYC once.
However, if you have multiple accounts without KYC, you will need to migrate each account individually and complete a KYC for each one. Once the KYC is validated, each account will be recognized and merged with the corresponding Solana account.
  • Select the Account: Choose your main account from a dropdown menu of your existing accounts. Details such as level, number of static assets, and number of Arks will be displayed.
  • Choose Your Username: Usernames from other accounts will be deleted and made available to other users after this step is validated (you can still change your username every 6 months if desired).
  • Confirm Your Email: Provide the email address that will serve as the reference for your account (you can change this email in your account settings after the migration).

Once these choices are validated, you’ll be ready to proceed with migrating other assets.

Step 4: Confirm the Conditions

This step involves your Flex and Eternal assets. You must read and agree to the following:

  • I have read the migration article (this article).
  • This account will become my main account, consolidating all my other accounts under a single identity.
  • At the end of the process, 100% of my Flex assets from my various accounts (Trisel, Eternal Stones, Freemint) will be automatically consolidated into this main account. Static assets will not be transferred.
  • Eternal assets from my linked wallets will be automatically transferred to my Solana address.
  • For assets stored in external wallets (not linked to an account), a bridge will be available in the “My Account” section after the migration.
  • Eternal assets, CTA tokens, or other IMX tokens (ETH, USDC, etc.) from my other CTA wallets must be manually transferred via a bridge after recovering their seed phrase during the migration.
  • Warning: If I do not recover the private keys of my CTA wallets or game wallet during the migration, my assets will be permanently lost. Recovering private keys is the final opportunity and will no longer be available afterward. Be diligent and take the time needed for each step!

Step 5: Verify Your Account

Sign into your CTA wallet using Magic Link (used as a 2FA).

Connect the Phantom address where your Eternal Assets and CTA Tokens will be sent.

Warning: Before clicking, carefully select the desired address in Phantom and verify during the signature that it’s the correct one.

You will see one of these statuses:

  • Pending (you need to sign a transaction).
  • Phantom address linked to the specified address.
  • Address already associated with another account; you must link a different address.

Step 7: Export Your Private Keys

Recover the seed phrases for all accounts linked to your KYC. This step is critical to finalize the migration, avoid future technical complications, and fully transition away from this part of the Portal. The fewer secondary accounts you have, the faster this step will be!

Important: If you haven’t followed Tip 1 (unification), carefully note the seed phrases of your old wallets. If you have CTA assets or other assets (NFTs, tokens from other projects, or blockchains other than IMX), these seed phrases will allow you to recover them independently in a wallet like Metamask or even Phantom.

Step 8: The Merge Begins!

If you followed Tip 1 (unification), everything happens automatically: your accounts are merged, your assets are transferred, and you receive a complete summary.

Step 9: Welcome to Solana!

Congratulations, you’re done! You’re now part of the Solana ecosystem with Cross The Ages. Dive into DeFi, the Eternal Score, and the new possibilities of the Marketplace.

Migration Reward

To encourage you to join the Solana ecosystem from the start, we’re rewarding the fastest movers! Everyone who completes their migration before the Season 4 will receive an Palmer/Erika cards (random alternative or standard) and will automatically be entered into a draw to win the prestigious Eli’Jah Unique card.
Everything will be dropped at the end of the Season 3.

Upcoming Changes to the Portal

The migration to Solana marks a major milestone for Cross The Ages, continuing the Portal’s overhaul and introducing new features. Here’s what awaits you upon arrival, along with planned developments post-migration.

What Will You Discover After the Migration?

Once the migration is complete, the Portal will transform to offer an optimized and secure experience. Here are the key updates:

  • Account Consolidation: Your accounts will be merged under a single identity (1 account = 1 KYC). You’ll need to select a primary account, and others will be consolidated. Static assets and levels won’t transfer, so take time to carefully choose your reference account (see “Choosing Your Account Wisely”).
  • Marketplace Transition: The Marketplace will exclusively use the CTA token as its currency for listings. The offer system will arrive later when Tensor has managed the unitary and collection offers in CTA token.
  • New Authentication System: Log in easily with Phantom, Epic Games, Google, or Apple. These options are customizable in the “My Account” section on the Portal.
  • New Dashboard: A revamped interface to track your assets (Eternal, Stones, trisel, CTA Tokens), Eternal Multiplier at a glance.
  • Eternal Score System with Binders: The Eternal Multiplier makes its debut (see dedicated section). Binders compile your best Eternal cards and display your account's overall score. This will allow you to start understanding the system, which will be activated in the weeks following the migration with the introduction of DeFi features and the VIP program.

What Are the Next Steps Post-Migration?

The migration is just the beginning! Here’s what’s in store next:

  • DeFI: The full DeFi ecosystem, featuring liquidity pools, staking opportunities, and reward structures, will roll out in the weeks after the migration.
  • VIP: A new VIP program will debut at the same time, allowing you to unlock your Eternal Multiplier and maximize your Trisel gains.
  • New Shop Portal: A revamped Shop will be introduced on the Portal, enabling you to acquire assets like Eternal cards, Trisel, Stones, and to collect SR cards or rewards from the VIP system.
  • Rental System: This system will be built from the ground up on Solana. You’ll be able to rent out your assets for CTA Tokens, providing new players affordable access to the game while generating returns for you.
  • Physical Collections: Next, we’ll integrate physical collections into the Portal. These Real-World Assets (RWA) will have their place in the ecosystem!
  • Lands: Finally, Lands will be introduced. They operate via a Program Derived Address (PDA) in the form of an NFT. You’ll need to place your cards on them to protect your Land.

The different subjects will be discussed in the upcoming Part 2 of the article, set to be released shortly.

Conclusion

The migration to Solana opens a new chapter for Cross The Ages: a smoother, more secure experience brimming with DeFi-oriented opportunities.
